Emma Childs ‘18 (General Fine Arts BFA) is a painter exploring the interaction of color, form, and light through abstract compositions. Using soft gradients and geometric shapes, Childs creates immersive, atmospheric paintings that invite contemplation while redefining contemporary abstraction.

Influenced by Color Field painting and modern design, her work has been exhibited in galleries across the U.S. and internationally. Recently her work was featured in the July issue of British Vogue, and the August issue of American Vogue. She has also been featured in Dwell, DC Modern Luxury, and more.
