Kirby Matherne ’14 (Graphic Design M.F.A.) is the creative director at Vibe Kayaks. When he’s not designing, he spends his time out on the water creating weekly videos featuring kayaking locations.
He is a 2015 Print Magazine's typography & lettering award winner, as well as a 2014 Adobe Design Achievement Award winner for typography in motion graphics. He was also a 2014 Adobe Design Achievement award finalist in Print Communication, and his work was published in the the second edition of Graphic Design: The New Basics by Ellen Lupton & Jennifer Cole Phillips.
