Sok Hui Low, an art educator who encourages experimentation and play with art materials and processes, teaches adolescents in Singapore, in an Integrated Programme independent school. Sok Hui's students have won many awards at the Singapore Youth Festival Art Exhibitions for works that exemplify Sok Hui's holistic approach to student development through art.

After earning her M.A. in Art Education in 2013, Sok Hui shared her MAAE research at the 2014 National Art Education Association Conference in San Diego, California, and published that research in the January 2015 issue of Art Education Journal. She continues to write about her teaching and art practice, contributing to publications in Singapore.

As an artist, Sok Hui is influenced by the Japanese concept of Wabi Sabi - finding beauty in imperfection and appreciating all things transient. Her latest artistic explorations use poured glue as the primary medium through which she metaphorically expresses experiences and memories. Recent works were showcased in several art exhibitions organized by the Singapore Teachers Academy for the Arts (STAR).
