Andrea Barnes is a Fiber Senior with a Concentration in Experimental Fashion. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Andrea’s primary inspiration stems from Nantucket Island, located off the coast of Hyannis, MA.
The Experimental Fashion Show combines fashion, performance, puppetry and sculpture in one event. The Experimental Fashion Show is designed, co-directed and co-produced by the artists from MICA’s Fiber Department’s You Are Here: A Multimedia Event class.

Andrea Barnes is a Fiber Senior with a Concentration in Experimental Fashion. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Andrea’s primary inspiration stems from Nantucket Island, located off the coast of Hyannis, MA.
Bokeum Jeon is an artist and a designer from Seoul, South Korea. She is a current Fiber Senior with an Experimental Fashion concentration.
Elinore MacInnes was raised in suburban upstate New York and is a Fiber Senior. Her performance, sculpture, video, and garment work examine humor and longing.
Macy Peterman is a Fiber Senior with a Concentration in Experimental Fashion. Her work focuses on craft, function, sport, and showmanship. Macy is inspired by kitch, extravagance, and tongue-in-cheek humor.
Madeline Lavosky is a Fiber Senior with a concentration in Experimental Fashion. She was raised in Montclair, New Jersey. She researches her lost family history to create visual, wearable narratives.
Mark Fleuridor was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and is a Painting Senior. Fleuridor explores his own personal history within his Haitian background and familial religious experiences through the mediums of painting, quilting, and collage.
Regan Dunleavy is originally from rural West Chester, Pennsylvania. She is a textile designer, costumer, aspiring circus performer, and Fiber Senior with a concentration in Experimental Fashion.
Sarina Angell is an artist from Savannah, Georgia. She makes garments and sculptures that encourage performance and instigate narratives.
Skip Chipps is a Ceramics Senior. Having been the square peg trying to fit into a round hole for most of his life, Skip now allows his uniqueness to shine even in the darkest of places. Like a disco ball, his artwork reflects the many sides of his personality and life.
Sukalp Bhatija (Soo-Kh-uLp Ba-tee-Jah) was born in New Delhi, India and raised there until the age of 11. Her family relocated to the United States, and has lived in Rockville, Maryland since.
Wen-Yu (Calvin) Chang is from Taipei, Taiwan (R.O.C.), and is a Fiber Senior with an Experimental Fashion Concentration. His surface-focused practice builds textile play and construction into a metaphor for protection and pressure.
Zhirong Kang was born in Shanxi, China and grew up in Taiyuan and Beijing. She is a current Fiber Senior with a concentration in Experimental Fashion. Her structural black clothing relates to the yin and yang of Chinese culture.
