ASAP | Submit final high school transcripts, and college transcripts to satisfy any pending credits to Undergraduate Admissions. Submit any outstanding College Board AP scores via email to your counselor in Undergraduate Admissions. |
ASAP | Book your travel arrangements, plane tickets, car rental, U-haul truck rentals, etc (if needed) |
6/8 | Your MICA Email is Active! Log in at gmail.mica.edu to activate your username. Check your MICA email everyday |
6/26 | Want to use your MICA ID to pay for things at the MICA Store or buy a snack at Cafe Doris? Add money to your flex account here. Sign up using your MICA email |
7/15 | Bringing a car to campus? Check your MICA.edu e-mail for a link to request a parking permit. |
7/15 | Explore MyMICA, which will be the means you receive news as well as access your information such as class schedule and tuition bill. Class schedules are not final until orientation! |
8/1 | Fall 2019 tuition payment due. You can go online to make payment by credit card or personal check, or you can mail check payment to the college. Please review payment policies by visiting the Student Accounts website. |
8/1 | Learn about Getting Involved at MICA and complete the Involvement Survey at iLeadMICA.com to get more information about these opportunities! |
8/2 | If applicable, request disability accommodations for the Writing Assessment with the Learning Resource Center (LRC) at 410.225.2416 or via email at lrc@mica.edu. Students may also register with the LRC for disability support services. While there is no deadline to register any disability with the LRC, please reach out to LRC staff as soon as possible to ensure accommodations will be in place at the start of the semester.or via email at lrc@mica.edu. |
8/3 | If you are on a 529 Plan or State-Sponsored Tuition Savings Plan, please make sure that the program has all the appropriate MICA contact information so funds can be readily forwarded to the College. Additional information about the administration of these plans can be viewed on the Student Accounts website. |
8/6 | Send your headshot picture for your MICARD (MICA student ID) to idcards@mica.edu. Make sure the image is PORTRAIT and no bigger than 640x480. Also, be sure to include: 1) your full name 2) "undergraduate" 3) where you will be living (i.e., Founders Green, Meyerhoff House, Gateway, Mount Royal Apartments or Off-Campus) 4) your date of birth |
Mid-August | You should have received your housing assignment by now. Contact your new apartment and roommates (if applicable). Review the What to Bring sheet and go shopping; see what your apartment/roommates are bringing so you don't double items in the apartment by accident. Visit the Residence Life website and read about their facilities and floor plans. |
8/20 | Send in your completed Health History Form (required), Meningitis Waiver Form (required if you don't have Meningitis vaccination), Medical Provider Request & Consent for Continuity of Medication Management (optional), and the Allergy Injection Consent Form (optional) to Student Health Services via email to healthservices@mica.edu or fax to 410-225-0252. |
8/30 | Last day to lower or cancel your meal plan. *Freshmen living on-campus are required to have the 150 or 200 Meal |
9/30 | Last day to waive participation in the MICA sponsored health insurance. All students are required to have health insurance before they arrive on campus. If you do not have a comparable, private coverage, then you must purchase the college-sponsored plan for $1466. |
