Next Steps for First-Year Students

You are now one step closer to joining the MICA community.

Now that you've been admitted to one of the nation's leading colleges for innovative art and design, it's time for the next steps in the process of becoming a MICA student and join our geographically and culturally diverse group of students from 48 states and 52 countries.

This list of next steps can help you plan ahead. We are also happy to act as your liaison with other offices. If questions arise, do not hesitate to contact your admission counselor.

Payment of deposits can be made online at mica.edu/deposit. To send a deposit by check or wire transfer, please find billing and payment information here.

Scholarship offers and financial aid awards must also be accepted and forms signed and postmarked no later than May 1st, 2020.

Even if you have already been here, visiting again, now that you have been admitted will give you and your family an even better sense of what life and study at MICA is really like. Weekend and weekday opportunities are available. Check out your options here.

Connect with Other Admitted Students

Join other admitted MICA students on a closed Facebook page set up just for you. Get to know other students who are admitted and also current MICA students. The group will be coming soon!

You will receive a course selection survey to choose your preferred classes. Your course schedule will be available to you during Orientation.
