Admitted Students

Next Steps for Transfer Students

You've been admitted to one of the nation's leading colleges for innovative art and design: Now continue the process of becoming a MICA student and join our geographically and culturally diverse community of students from 48 states and 52 countries!

This list of next steps can help you plan ahead. Undergraduate Admission  can help you get in touch with other offices on campus. Let us know your questions !

Visit Campus

Even if you have already visited, coming to campus as an admitted student can  give you and your family an even better sense of what life and study at MICA is really like.  Check out these visit options   including our Admitted Transfer Day  on Sunday, April 26:  an event designed just for you!

Connect with Other Admitted Students

Join other admitted MICA students on a closed Facebook page set up just for you. Get to know other students who are admitted and also current MICA students. The group will be coming soon!

Complete Your On-Campus Housing Survey

While transfer students are not required to live on campus, you can choose to live in a residence hall.
Pay your housing deposit along with your tuition deposit. Starting in March, Residence Life will contact students with the next steps in the housing and roommate matching process. Please note that single/double room-type requests are considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

The first 30 transfer students who pay their housing deposit along with their tuition deposits will be guaranteed an on-campus housing assignment.
