* MICA deadlines supersede National Fulbright deadlines.

* Review ideas and portfolio
June - July
Weekly Tips email sent. Meet with F.P.A. regularly.
Create a draft of your project proposal and personal statement.
Correspond with your affiliation(s), and work towards obtaining letter(s) of support from them.
Request letters of reference and obtain a language evaluation (if applicable).

Friday, August 10th
Mandatory Meeting – attend on-campus or virtually
*Revised Essays Due

* Submit written application online – do not submit your portfolio
September 7 – 21th
Campus Committee Evaluations
* Each applicant is interviewed by at least two faculty member and will be “recommend” or “not recommended” based on the portfolio and application material. In some instances faculty will request seeing a revised application prior to making their final decision.
After your interview, your application will be returned to you for edits.
Throughout September meet with F.P.A., faculty and the Writing Studio for application revision.
Monday October 1, 2018
Final Applications are submitted online — both written and portfolio.
