"The two years I spent studying at MICA's Rinehart School of Sculpture allowed for me to expand on the curiosities I have regarding our quest, as humans, to increase the longevity of our lives through different applications of what we determine to be safe and secure ways to go about our daily lives. My individual curiosities regarding these issues fueled my studio practice, which resulted in the many different installations I made while I was a student at Rinehart. The faculty, along with my fellow classmates, assisted in the advancement of my practice through discussion, group and individual critique, and research and writing seminars throughout my two years as a student. I owe much of my success as an artist to the people and resources that were at my disposal while I was a student and to those people still part of my post-graduation MICA network."
