Jon has over 30 years experience producing events and theater. Jon’s responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Office of Events. Jon takes the lead in planning and coordination of most major College events, including Commencement and all related activities, Portfolio Day and manages summer residencies. Jon specializes in the management of large events.
Think of Nelle as MICA’s meeting and event professional. Her expertise is in catering and hospitality as well as space design for high touch internal events on campus. Nelle also manages all logistics and vendor relationships for ArtWalk.
Emma supports MICA's campus through facilitating and coordinating events with MICA departments and administration, and external clients. Emma is the primary contact for coordinating events for Student Affairs. In addition, Emma organizes, implements and manages MICA's annual Art Market.
Randy provides support for campus events through approving space for 25Live, MICA's space scheduling software, as well as, reviewing and approving installations in public spaces on MICA's campus. Additionally, Randy compiles and distributes the weekly Events/Security FYI and compiles MICA's Comprehensive (Goldenrod) Calendar.
Nathan primarily supervises, coordinates, and manages the operation of the performances spaces on campus, including Falvey Hall, BBOX, A Box, and other venues that may be used as performance spaces. Additionally, Nathan assists with providing audio-visual support for various events on campus and coordinating external filmings on campus.
