BALTIMORE--The MFA in Studio Art (MFAST) program was launched as a low residency summer session designed for primary and secondary art educators who had interest in furthering their studio practice. Over the years the program has developed into a group of diverse artists covering a wide array of disciplines. This growth has called for a faculty with an equally diverse range of artistic practices to support the growth and development of the students within the program.

Disperatus will feature the work of MFAST faculty mentors and facilitators.  The works on display represent a disparate group of artists who all share a singular mission of working with graduate students who are serious about their work and are dedicated to it's artistic and intellectual growth and development.  The exhibition will be on display from Saturday, June 28 through Saturday, July 13 in the Fox Building's Meyerhoff Gallery (1303 W. Mount Royal Ave.).  A reception will be held Saturday, June 28 from 6-8 p.m.
