After graduating from the MFA in Community Arts program at MICA, Denise Duarte returned to Nevada to head Clark County's Public Arts Program.  Duarte leads a committee that oversees potential sites for installations and works with the local community to determine the best type of work for each location.  Vegas Seven is a weekly publication that touches on everything from fashion and dining to sports and politics.  Duarte is featured as one of the magazine's Intriguing People of 2014.  The complete feature can be read HERE on the Vegas Seven website.
