CSLs participate at various levels of hourly commitments per semester and are provided space to process and reflect on their experiences outside of MICA, as well as opportunities for continued professional and personal development with the expectation that they will utilize this learning out in the community. CSLs are recruited at the beginning of each semester, are trained for the position, and then facilitate weekly art sessions at the site where they are placed.
Requirements

Attend CSL orientation in the beginning of the semester.

A consistent volunteer commitment to the community site for a semester.

Attend and take advantage of the resources provided during CSL Professional Development Workshops and Bi-Weekly Meetings.

Participating in mid-term and final evaluation of their work with the community site.
Incentives
- Community Site Leaders receive a stipend at the end of the semester that is reflective of their attendance, consistency and effort. Returning CSLs are eligible for a higher stipend.
