LGBTQ Resources

MICA's Faculty and Staff Queer Alliance (FASQA)

Faculty and Staff Queer Alliance (FASQA) is comprised of MICA staff and faculty members that meet on a regular basis for event-planning, fundraising, networking, and socializing. We also serve in a mentor-capacity to the students and the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) community at MICA; having many collaborations with MIQA, the LGBTQ+ student organization for undergraduate students. Broad goals include outreach, awareness, advocacy, and LGBTQ+ scholarship.

FASQA meets on a monthly basis. If you are a MICA Staff/Faculty and are interested in joining our efforts and future meetings, email us at FASQA@mica.edu to join the email list. You'll then get information about upcoming meetings, events, etc.

After completing both Safe Zone Training, participants will receive a placard to hang in their space (e.g. office, room, etc.)
