While most iLEAD applications have closed, there are still several positions within the Center for Student Engagement that are accepting applications! These positions will remain open until filled.

iLead is a hub for 20+ leadership positions across eight MICA offices. From leading a student organization to working as a Desk Assistant, there are so many ways to get involved.

Diversity Coordinator - Peer Educator

Diversity Coordinators promote MICA’s commitment to diversity and the creation of a global learning community. They help bring individuals and groups of students together to engage in with and learn from one’s own culture and identity.

Peer Career Advisor (PCA)

Peer Career Advisors (PCAs) are undergraduate and graduate students who provide pivotal services for the Joseph Meyerhoff Center for Career Development. The position involves program planning, resource development, conducting 1-1 appointments with students, and attendance at some major events.

Wellness Coordinator

Wellness Coordinators are part-time paraprofessional staff member in the MICA Fitness. This position is responsible for assisting with day-to-day management including event planning, public relations and administrative duties.

Pre-College Office Assistant

Pre-College Office Assistants serve as office staff for MICA’s Pre-College Program, a 5-week summer residential program for high school art and design students.

Office of Undergraduate Admission

Student Ambassador

Student Ambassadors offer invaluable support to the Office of Undergraduate Admission, acting as the first line of information for prospective students and their parents, answering phones, giving general facts about MICA and MICA’s admission process, and forwarding more complex questions to our Counseling Staff.

Desk Assistant

Desk Assistants (DAs) work at the front desks of Founders Green, Meyerhoff House, and Gateway to provide security and assistance to the residential community.

Residential Advisor (RA)

Residential Advisors (RAs) are live-in peer mentors and community builders in our on-campus residential housing. From hosting fun programs to educating residents the RA position is one of leadership and integrity.

Desk Coordinators assist with the management and operation of Founders Green, Meyerhoff, and Gateway front desks.

Head Resident Advisor

The Head Residential Advisor (HRA) shares the responsibility for implementing the basic goals of the Residence Life Department by promoting individual and community development, and serving as a leader among their Residential Advisor (RA) peers.

Mail Coordinator

Mail coordinators work within the Department of Residence Life & Off-Campus Housing and are responsible for organizing all of the mail that their building receives.

Student Office Assistant

Student Office Assistants share the responsibility for implementing the basic goals of the Residence Life Department by promoting individual and community development, and serving as a liaison to the Director of Residence Life & Off-Campus Housing, Housing Operations Manager and Residential Coordinators.

Studio Manager

The Studio Manager (SM) oversees the day to day operation of the residential studios, including developing a sign in/out procedure that meets the needs of the residents.

Center for Student Engagement

Community Site Leader (CSL)

Community Site Leaders (CSLs) plan, organize and facilitate art classes in non-profit organizations throughout Baltimore City including schools, neighborhood art centers, and rehabilitation/transitional housing facilities.

France-Merrick Fellow (FMF)

France-Merrick Fellows (FMFs) are veteran CSLs with at least two semesters of service. FMFs apply for a year-long fellowship to work with a specific population or community partner. FMFs also plan days of service and mentor CSLs.

Connector - ​Transfer & Commuter Mentor

Connectors serve as a resource for transfer and commuter students throughout the year.

Student Orientation Director

Student Orientation Director will be responsible for recruiting, training, and manage the Orientation Leader team in addition to planning several programs within the broader Student Orientation experience.

Orientation Leaders (OLs) facilitate Orientation for first year and transfer students in fall and spring.

Program Manager (PM)

Program Managers serve as committee chairs of the MICA Program Board. They plan and implement programs for the student body and campus community, including Halloween Party and Last Blast.

Program Assistants serve as volunteer committee members on the MICA Program Board and assist with campus-wide programming, including Halloween Party and Last Blast.

Student Space Gallery Jury Member

Student Space Gallery Jury Members collaborate with the Jury team to select student exhibitions for the Student Space Galleries on campus.

Student Space Gallery Manager

Student Space Gallery Manager will provide overall supervision to the four student galleries on MICA's campus by managing the operations of gallery spaces, communicating with and supporting artists exhibiting in galleries, as well as provide outward facing general information/marketing regarding current and upcoming exhibitions.

Student Voice Association (SVA) Officer

Student Voice Association (SVA) Officers facilitate the MICA student government and advisory board. The councils meet monthly to discuss issues that affect the MICA community and serve as a liaison between the students and administration.
