FINANCIAL AID INSTRUCTIONS
Please refer to the 2020-2021 Financial Aid Application Procedures document for more information.
MICA ID
Bring your MICA ID card to campus. Your MICA ID is required to access campus buildings and print services, including the Grad Lab.
You must visit the Office of Campus Safety at 1501 W. Mount Royal Avenue in person to have a replacement ID card made.
Replacement IDs can be made by appointment during regular business hours, 8:30am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday. PLEASE CALL AHEAD. There is no charge to replace an ID that is not working due to technical failure. However, there is a Lost or Damaged ID fee of $25.00.

CAMPUS BUILDING HOURS
Lazarus Center will offer extended hours to graduate students during the MLK Weekend Winter Intensive Session. Below are tentative dates and times proposed by Operations:
From Friday December 13th - January 19th, Graduate students will have access to the Fred Lazarus IV Center and other graduate studios and collaborative workspaces (ID required) from 8:00 am–11:00 pm, seven days a week, with the exception of the following holidays:
- Monday - Wednesday December 23 - 25, 2019
- Tuesday - Wednesday December 31 - January 1, 2020
Fred Lazarus IV Center will resume 24-hour access during the MLK Winter Intensive Session on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 through Monday, January 20, 2020. For low-residency programs in session, please contact the program director for a schedule.
Normal operating hours resume on Monday January 20, 2020 at 8am, even though it is a college holiday (Martin Luther King Jr Day).
MICA SHUTTLE SERVICE
Limited shuttle service will run Tuesday 1/14 - Monday 1/20, 5:00pm - Midnight.

Art Installation Resources during Winter Session
GRAD LAB
Grad Lab is pleased to offer extended hours during the MLK Winter Intensive Session. A student Graduate Technical Assistant will be on hand to run the checkout and print lab. Visit the Grad Lab website for more information.

Please make sure you have no outstanding balance on your account.
- All Grad Lab fines must be paid before you can check out additional equipment.
- Grad Lab can only accept payment in the form of MICARD flex dollars. Cash, credit cards, or other forms of payment are not accepted. Consider adding funds to your MICARD flex account. Fines may take up to 24 hours to be removed from your account, so please plan accordingly.
- Late-returned equipment will result in a fine of $5 per hour, with a daily max of $15
- If you haven't already attended Grad Lab Orientation, you will need to complete and sign a Terms and Conditions form before checking out equipment. Email to phunt@mica.edu.
- Reservations can be made online up to one week in advance of the pickup date. To ensure the equipment you want will be available, reserve early!
- Most equipment is available for a maximum 3 days.
- Reservations cannot be made over the phone. **Some equipment may require special training or permission to check out.

A few exhibition kits will be available to assist you to install your artwork, including a few ladders. Please plan ahead and bring your own tools if needed, including extension cords and lights.

Students can borrow a variety of tech equipment from the Tech Desk. Please note that the Tech Desk will be closed on Saturday and Sunday during Winter Session.
