Charley Camp has taught “American Folk Art and Folklife” for more than twenty years.
He received his Ph.D. in American Folklore from the University of Pennsylvania, and had published widely in vernacular architecture, folk crafts, and American foodways. Among his publications are Traditional Craftsmanship in America (1983) and American Foodways (1989).
