Dan Meyers teaches Photo Imaging in the Graphic Design department at MICA, has a BFA in photography from Southern Illinois University and a MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art.
He has freelanced for 26 years specializing in photographing artwork for museums and individual artists. His own black and white fine art work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally including a group show at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Dan has also been the recipient of individual artist grants. A book published on Paul Rand's life work included photographs Dan shot of Rand's home. In addition, he has had work appear in numerous publications including the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum's Design Culture Now, Sculpture magazine, Fiber Arts, American Craft magazine, Contemporary American Pottery and the New York Times.
