He has a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Loyola University in Chicago with a specialization in clinical health care ethics. He is currently the Research Subject Advocate/Regulatory Compliance Officer in the General Clinical Research Center at Johns Hopkins University Bayview Medical Center.
