Harry has exhibited and published his photographs widely, including at the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum, and he has lectured extensively.

In addition to MICA, he has taught at the University of Minnesota, the Corcoran School of Art, the University of New Orleans, and the Ansel Adams Workshop.

Harry's rich, varied, and international professional experiences have included executive producer of a documentary film made in Panama and Colombia; an apprenticeship to Richard Avedon; research in Mexico; years of practice as a professional photographer throughout the world for exhibition and publications such as Time magazine, as well as for various national agencies such as the Human Rights Commission of Honduras; and working for AmeriCorps in the WritersCorps Program.
