Ashley Yazdani is an illustrator, traveler, and nature lover.
She graduated with a BFA in Illustration from California College of the Arts in 2008, and received her MFA in Illustration Practice from MICA in 2016. Ashley's picture book work centers on historical non-fiction, and her personal work explores the relationship between humans and the environment; she is currently seeking publication of her first picture book manuscript. Her tools of the trade are watercolors, colored pencils, embroidery, screen printing, and Photoshop. When not pushing pigment or pixels around, Ashley can be found reading, knitting, or running around in the great outdoors.
