As graduation approaches, I wanted to take the opportunity to share with you some useful information about the next few months leading up to your student commencement ceremony, your trip to Baltimore, and gifts for your new grad. It is never too early to start planning!
10 Things You Need To Know As Your Student Prepares to Graduate:
- Nike, Apple, Nickelodeon, and many other companies will be on campus to recruit students in the Spring semester. Encourage your student to attend the Internship + Career Fair on 2/28 and apply for The Reviews by 2/23.
- Career Development resources and counseling appointments are available for your student for life! Even after graduation they can make an in-person, phone or Zoom appointment to talk through their next steps. Read more
- MICAnetwork is an invaluable resource to see what jobs and internships are available for your student now and after graduation. Make sure they check it out!
- The Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony will take place on Monday, May 18, 2020, at 2pm in the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Doors will open at 1pm. The Meyerhoff Symphony Hall is located at 1212 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, MD, 21201. Students get up to 5 tickets (tickets are required for anyone over the age of 2). Read more
