I came to MICA in January 2019 as the College's public relations manager after a career in journalism. On a regular day, you'll find me working to promote the amazing stories of students, staff and faculty. Much of my job includes working on press releases about events and announcements, as well as pitching stories locally, nationally and internationally. 

Prior to my time at MICA, I spent more than six years as a journalist in both Maryland and Pennsylvania, covering everything from education to crime to local government. My time in journalism has given me a unique understanding of the news world, a skill that helps me to find the best way to promote your projects. My passion is to tell interesting stories, so it is my mission to learn about all of the incredible work taking place at MICA so I can share it with the community and beyond.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing a good board game, reading or exploring Baltimore. I'm a Harry Potter enthusiast,  am obsessed with a good cheese board and love hanging out with my two cats. Reach out and and tell me your story!
