When it comes to MICA's Graduate Community, the old adage "people make the place" has never been truer.

Community doesn't just happen. It is nurtured by the belief that members matter to one another and to the group. You matter in MICA's graduate community. Your ideas, risks, sacrifices, burnt midnight oil - we got your back.

Meet the people that make our Graduate Community the living, breathing cohort of relational artists, designers, and creators that it is. In this community, you have room to fail and figure things out with guidance and support that won't weigh you down.

MICA's graduate faculty are nationally and internationally recognized working artists and designers, scholars, instructors, critics, advocates, and mentors. Selected for their successful studio and professional practices, many faculty members are recognized for their criticism, scholarship, and curatorial activities.

Graduate Program Directors and Faculty

The faculty is deeply engaged and committed to student creative development and provides personalized mentorship for each student's development. Selected for their successful studio and professional practices, many faculty members are also recognized for their practices, criticism, scholarship, and curatorial activities. Intensive and varied interactions with students allow graduate program directors to tailor seminar topics and technical workshops to the specific needs of their students—and to support each student in the pursuit of his or her unique creative vision and academic achievement.
