Paul Jaskunas is a professor at the Maryland Institute College of Art and the author of the novel Hidden.

Selected by Amazon as one of the best 50 books of the year, Hidden received the Friends of American Writers Award for Fiction and has been published widely in Europe. He has had essays published by The New York TimesFirst ThingsAmerica, and The Atticus Review, and his long story “The Market for Virgins” was published as an e-book by Amazon’s StoryFront, a new imprint for fiction. At MICA, he teaches literature and creative writing, and is the founding editor of Full Bleed, a new journal of art and design. In the past, Paul has worked as a journalist and a publicist. A graduate of Oberlin College, he received an MFA in fiction from Cornell University, and travelled to Lithuania on a Fulbright scholarship. He now lives in Maryland outside Washington, D.C.
